It bottoms out at 2.0 for the processor, and the next number up is 2.9, for Graphics. Though it's likely a too-broad method of measurement, it might be interesting to know the Windows Performance Score Index Number Measurement Rubric or whatever it's called. Streaming fullscreen video is not possible, which is a little disappointing but not unexpected. Overall Review: One doesn't expect a multimedia powerhouse for $350, and so far I haven't been disappointed. Pros: Obviously cheap, reasonable gfx card, nice display, comes with mcafee trial instead of norton, windows 7 instead of vista clearance, upgradeable.Ĭons: Subpar processor, normal bloatware, relatively small hd, limited connections. This is a budget laptop that performs well for everyday basic use. Overall Review: I like the laptop overall and would recommend it to others, however I would not recommend this if you need a computer for high performance applications (gamming, video editing, etc.) or need a laptop that you can go all day on a single charge with.

Around the house it great as long as there is a full charge or an outlet within reach. Overall I am extremely pleased with this buy.Ĭons: Most people will point to the short battery life as the biggest con and I would have to agree, if I was using this laptop for traveling or spending hours and hours away from a power source it would be very bad. The sound quality is good as well, better than the built in speakers that you will find in many mid-range monitors or laptops. The disk drive is nearly silent, and burns disks at a reasonable speed, the computer is not very hot even after a few hours of heavy use. Windows 7 is easy enough to use, I like many others skipped the Vista fiasco and am glad that the new OS is functional and not a pain to work with. The numerical pad is excellent to have, my last laptop was without it and it was sorely missed. The keyboard is wide, even for a blue collar working guy with clumsy hands I have no trouble navigating. Pros: This laptop is cheap (I bought it on sale under $400) and it is effective for the general use of everyday activities like internet browsing and running office applications.
